Janet Czarnecki
Janet Czarnecki is the sole proprietor of Redwood Roots Farm. She is a grower with more than 25 years experience in community and small-scale organic agriculture. Her hands helped shape the fifth CSA in the country, as well as many community, educational, and market gardens in Michigan and California.
Erin Derden-Little
Arcata native Erin Derden-Little is the farm's Education Program Director. Erin interned at Redwood Roots Farm after serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia from 2001-2003. She then completed a Masters program at UC Davis in the areas of agricultural and community development in 2006, and returned to Redwood Roots Farm to develop a variety of educational programs in partnership with the CSA.
